Telfords Warehouse in Chester, England
Telfords Warehouse is an excellent music venue, restaurant and bar in the Roman city of Chester in Northwest England. It has period features from its days as a warehouse but also has a modern feel that appeals to those who enjoy attractive and sophisticated interior spaces with a stunning outlook over the canal. It provides good quality food and drink and an excellent night out – attracting local people of all ages and visitors from around the world. I have had the opportunity to play there on several occasions and would recommend it as a place to meet friends, see a band, have a meal or even play there yourself.
Glasshouse at Cefn Mawr near Wrexham
The Glasshouse is a community arts centre based in the small village of Cefn Mawr near Wrexham. The centres philosophy is to foster creativity in the area and provide a focal point for creative, theatrical and musical output in the area. Every Tuesday they have an open-mic night and on Saturday a more formal music event is organised. The site used to be an old chapel which became derelict and in need of development.
